How Much Adhesive Do I need to fit PVC Wall Panels?

A huge appeal of PVC Wall Panels is the installation or to be more accurate how easy they are to fit. You can install PVC Wall Panels a number of ways but perhaps the most popular method is to use a panel specific adhesive to fit the panel to the existing surface. This could be brick, plasterboard or even direct to tiles.

Customers often ask how much adhesive is required so we have created a guide with regards quantity of adhesive for our three main panel widths. We always recommend to purchase more than required as some walls are flatter than others. Better to have too much and finish the installation in one go than leave it half finished.

How to calculate quantity of adhesive for irregular shaped walls.

The easiest way to calculate the quantity of adhesive for an irregular shaped wall is to break each section down into individual sections. For example, if you are calculating for above a window measure the height and length of that area and divide the length by the width of your chosen panel. If the section is 1M long and 35cm high, you will require approximately half a panel (140cms) and that would require a quarter of a tube of adhesive.
